What white Wine will stand up to a Cabernet Sauvignon?
I’m doing a wine tasting at a friend’s and, for reasons I won’t go into, need a white that will stand up to her Cab.
Not sure what you mean by “stand up to” ? Are you pairing it with food or only tasting? You are comparing apples and bananas if you ask me….A full bodied red will always overpower a white, that’s why in tastings they put the reds after the whites.
A high end (like $30/bottle) German Riesling Spatlese (late harvest) is smooth and slightly sweet. You’ll love it.
